9/1975 The company name is changed to Special Reference Laboratories, Inc.
7/1982 Starts the clinical trial test business
12/1983 Established SRL Tokyo Laboratories, Inc. (later SRL Tokyo Medical)
10/1987 Receives accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
12/1988 JML, Inc. (latter SRL Nishi-Nihon, Inc. JML, Inc.) becomes a subsidiary
7/1989 The company name is changed to SRL.
8/1990 SRL is listed on the Second Section of Tokyo Stock Exchange.
7/1993 Taiyo Kosei Laboratories, Inc.(latter SRL Hokuriku, Inc.) becomes a subsidiary of SRL.
5/1994 Nanshin Clinical Laboratories, Inc. becomes a subsidiary of SRL.
10/1994 SRL establishes Human Health Promotion, Inc..
7/1995 Ogyu Clinical Laboratories, Inc. of Sapporo (latter SRL Hokkaido, Inc. ) becomes a subsidiary of SRL.
1/1997 SRL establishes SRL Teijin Bio, Inc. (current SRL Medisearch Inc., shareholding: 66.7%), a venture for clinical testing services for the pharmaceutical industry.

3/2000 Life Information Analysis Center, Inc. becomes a subsidiary of SRL.
4/2000 Nippon Stery Corporation and Sumikin Sterile Kyushu Co., Ltd.( latter Kyusyu Stery Corporation) become subsidiaries of SRL.
9/2000 SRL establishes WELL Clinics Inc., a venture for supporting the opening and management of clinics.
12/2001 SRL is listed on the First Section of Tokyo Stock Exchange.
4/2002 Participates in the management of Shionogi Medical Service.(latter Shionogi Biomedical Laboratories)
6/2002 Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Mitsui Fudosan, and SRL jointly contribute capital to establish Medivance Co., Ltd., which is to develop and manage medical malls.
3/2003 Participates in management of Japan Clinical Pharmacology Laboratories, Ltd.(current Asmo Clinical Pharmacology Laboratories Ltd.), which assists medical organizations in conducting studies.
11/2004 SRL becomes 66.57 % owned subsidiary of Fujirebio by Fuirebio's TOB.
12/2004 SRL concludes a stock swap agreement with Fujirebio by which SRL becomes wholly owned subsidiary of Fjirebio.
4/2005 Two subsidiaries, SRL Tokyo Medical, Inc. and SBS, Inc. are merged into SRL.
All the shares of Rejoice, Inc. and Rejoice Pharmacy, Inc. are sold.
SRL becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Fujirebio through the stock swap.
7/2005 Fujirebio, SRL's parent company splits itself into two corporations; new Fujirebio Inc. and Miraca Holdings Inc., a holding company of the new Fujirebio Inc. and SRL.
1/2006 Mediwing, Inc. is merged into SRL.
4/2006 Seven subsidiaries, SRL Hokkaido, Inc., TSL, Inc., Nanshin Clinical Laboratories, Inc., SRL Shizuoka, Inc., SRL Hokuriku, Inc., Life Information Analysis Center, Inc. and SRL Nishi-Nihon, Inc., are merged into SRL.
12/2006 Diagnostic reagent business of SRL is merged into TFB, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Fujirebio Inc.
6/2007 Shionogi Biomedical Laboratories(latter SRL Kansai,Inc.) becomes a subsidiary of SRL.
4/2008 SRL Kansai,Inc. are merged into SRL.
10/2009 Care'x Inc becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of SRL.
11/2009 4 subsidiaries are rebuild.
Kyusyu Stery Corporation becomes a subsidiary of SRL.
